Enhanced Plan
Free Parcel Insurance Coverage
- All of our clients using our service is qualified for the basic parcel insurance plan
- Coverage for each parcel is up to 100 USD (or the equivalent amount in foreign currency)
- Each parcel# is considered independently
# Each with one tracking number
Lost Parcel
- Only applicable when the entire parcel is lost
- The insurance is not subject to partial loss of the parcel
- Failure in providing real, accurate and complete information of the parcel is not eligible for the insurance plan
- Certificate of purchase must be provided to verify the quantity and actual value of the parcel
- Coverage for each parcel is up to 100 USD or the equivalent amount in foreign currency
Damaged Parcel
- If the damaged parcel can not function properly, compensation will be calculated based on the level of damage, up to 30% of the delivery fee.
- Liquid leakage is not eligible for the insurance plan
- Fragile goods and goods with improper packaging or lack of appropriate protection (such as ceramic glass, liquid crystal display, books, papers and Plastic Products) is not eligible for the insurance plan
3% Insurance Fee
- Insurance fee is equal to 3% of the declared parcel value
- The maximum insurance fee for each parcel# is USD 30 or the equivalent amount in foreign currency. GST is not included.
- Insurance fee will be charged together with the delivery fee
- If the value of the parcel is under 100 USD, no additional insurance fee will be charged
- Each parcel# is considered independently

Lost Parcel

Damaged Parcel
- Enhanced Parcel Insurance Plan is not eligible for damaged parcel
- Damage compensation is not applicable if the packaging is intact
- Damage compensation is not applicable if the outer packaging is damaged without any actual damage to the product itself
- For non-carton or wooden box packaging package, we will not accept any form of damage compensation
Excluded from Coverage
Condition of Parcels
- Dangerous goods and Prohibited articles (click HERE for more details)
- Fragile goods and goods with improper packaging or lack of appropriate protection (such as ceramic glass, liquid crystal display, books, papers and Plastic Products) is not eligible for the insurance plan
- Damage due to improper packaging or lack of appropriate protection for the parcel
- Damage compensation is not applicable if the packaging is intact
- Damage compensation is not applicable if the outer packaging is damaged without any actual damage to the product itself
- For non-carton or wooden box packaging parcel, we will not accept any form of damagensurance DOES NOT Cover compensation
Natural Disaster
- Any Damage/ Loss due to
- Nature losses, nature defects, characteristics, and market price rise or fall caused
- Bad weather, lightning, tsunamis, earthquakes, floods and other natural disasters during transportation
- In the event of transporation accident, public enemy invasion, insurrection, strike or other regional dispute, civil disturbance or war in transit
- Due to temperature, humidity changes
- Natural disaster: including but not limited to earthquake, tornado, storm, flood, fire, plaque, fog, snow, frost or geological disasters.
Unforeseeable Circumstances
- Any customs, carrier company or government officials’ negligence, such as customs returns, flight delays, etc.
- Shipment that has no parcel declaration, false report or unable to provide Tracking Number
- Shipment that indicates false receive notice or pre-declared information, no inbound information or wrong delivery from seller
- Suspected website or unable to contact the seller
- No sign of delivery company certifying that the parcel has been delivered to our overseas warehouse
- Incorrect or inaccurate overseas shipping address which is not the same as the warehouse address provided in Buy&Ship’s member centre
- Parcels lost due to the fault of the sender (e.g. providing invalid/fake documentation)
- The parcel is already with poor quality or the quantity is not correct before its arrival to our oversea warehouse
- The expiring of shelf life and warranty period and other irresistible factors due to clearance
How to Claim
Precautions for Receiving Parcel
- Check the parcel to see whether the packaging is intact or if there is a significant difference in weight
- Regardless of whether or not obvious damage is occurred to the outer packaging, inspection of the parcel is necessary before signing the courier document
- After the parcel is found damaged, please prepare the certificate of purchase, photos of the outer packaging, photos of the damaged details and other information and inform us to initialize the compensation claiming process
- If the parcel is found damaged, you reserve the right to refuse to sign any documents from the courier and take photos of the parcel immediately
General Claims Process
- Applicable to the claims of damaged parcels and lost parcels
- Please send the above documents to au-support@buynship.com with "Member ID + Order Number + Claim” in the email subject
- Proof of purchase, such as invoices or transaction records (including the the product’s content and value)
- Delivery notifications from the sellers
- Photographs of the packaging and contents of the parcel (if any)
- Contact details of the sellers
- Buy&Ship reserves the right to request members to provide more information as needed
- Buy&Ship reserves the right to refuse a claim if any above-mentioned documents are lacking or if we are not able to confirm the necessary details
- Please keep all the packaging and contents of the parcels until the investigation is completed
- We will respond within 7 days after all the necessary documents are provided
- Any claim of compensation will NOT be accepted 3 or more days after the receipt of the parcel
- Any claim of compensation will NOT be accepted if the parcel has not been claimed for more than 30 days after its arrival at our overseas warehouse
- Members will be notified by email upon completion of the claim
